Liverpool FC's official Twitter account, @LFC, today reached a special landmark by passing two million followers on the social networking website.
After originally launching as @LFCTV in February 2009 before a username change in April 2011, and more than 27,000 tweets later, the Reds are now engaging with more than two million people on Twitter - around 45 times the capacity of Anfield.
@LFC provides supporters with everything they need to know about Liverpool, with updates published throughout the day and on every single day of the week.
In addition to exclusive images and behind-the-scenes information, the @LFC account shares the latest news from the club's official website and offers updates directly from the stadium on matchdays.
Follow @LFC on Mondays and you can enjoy the popular #LFCpubquiz, which awards one lucky supporter with a prize each week for their knowledge about the Reds. Fans can also shape the music played at Anfield pre-match via Twitter.
As well as the worldwide account, the club has launched a total of 17 international accounts during the past year for supporters across the globe - including 12 in local language. See below for more details.
Users can stay up to date with other club departments on Twitter too, with dedicated accounts for LFCTV, the Liverpool FC Foundation, Liverpool Ladies, Mighty Red and many more.
It is all part of making Liverpool FC the world's most globally active club on the social media platform, a feat achieved by overtaking Barcelona earlier in 2013.
