Liverpool's Andre Wisdom was shown a straight red card as England U21s drew 1-1 against Finland on Monday night.
The 20-year-old captained his country at the Tampere Stadion; however, he was dismissed late on in the game.
Moshtagh Yaghoubi gave the home side the lead on the night after 15 minutes of play.
England equalised in the 67th minute when Manchester United's Wilfried Zaha slid a perfectly-weighted cross into the waiting Saido Berahino, who tapped home from six yards.
However, Wisdom was shown a straight red card in the 74th minute and England were forced to settle for a draw. Meanwhile, Reds full-back Jack Robinson was an unused substitute.
