Kop 10: Most LFC hat-tricks

With Luis Suarez out to make it hat-tricks in three consecutive games against Norwich when they visit Anfield on Saturday, we take a look back through the history books to see which Red has bagged more trebles than the rest.

Plenty of the club's finest players and goalscorers feature on the list - although Suarez narrowly misses out for now with his tally of two.

The selection includes scorers from the club's formative years of the 1890s, to the stars of Bill Shankly's first great team right through to the modern day.

There's European Cup-winners, record-breakers and the man with the most has notched an astonishing 17 hat-tricks for the club.

Good article, although knew it was Hodgson. Maybe with Sturridge getting goals in both of his first two games we can find out the last one to do that, and who has scored in most successive games from their debut. Does not mean not scoring in game 1, then scoring in games 2, 3, 4 onwards has to have scored from debut.
