1. Liverpool 3-2 Everton (Wembley, 20.05.89)

A poignant FA Cup final which came just over a month after the Hillsborough disaster saw Reds and Blues unite in solidarity along Wembley Way. Ian Rush clinched Liverpool's winner in the 104th minute.

The closer of McAllister in 2001 is my best derby memory, whilst the serpentine of David Fairclough in 1976 remains for me the more impressive goal in a derby
