James Milner up for Champions League award
James Milner’s industrious performance in Liverpool’s clash with FC Porto on Tuesday night has resulted in a nomination for the Champions League Player of the Week.
The vice-captain has been included on a four-man shortlist for the accolade after helping the Reds through to the quarter-finals of the tournament with the goalless Anfield draw.
Also in the running are Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Gonzalo Higuain (Juventus) and Leroy Sane (Manchester City).
