Last season's Merseyside derby at Anfield is easily recalled by Liverpool fans – but Jon Flanagan and Andy Robertson have provided a fresh twist on that memorable win ahead of the 2017-18 edition.
Goals from Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi inspired Jürgen Klopp’s team to a 3-1 success over their neighbours on that April afternoon on the Red side of Stanley Park.
Eight months on, and with the rivals set to lock horns in L4 once more this Sunday, we tasked Scouser Flanagan and summer signing Robertson with offering their very own ‘alternative commentary’ on the best of the action.
