April consisted of five games, three wins and nine goals for Liverpool – and now it’s time to select your Standard Chartered Player of the Month.
The Reds maintained their charge for a top-four finish during the course of the four weeks, starting with an emphatic 3-1 victory over Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield.
Following a home draw with Bournemouth, Jürgen Klopp’s side then recorded back-to-back away triumphs at Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion, though April concluded with a disappointing loss to Crystal Palace at home.
So, who was Liverpool’s star performer?
