The German used his media briefing today to issue something of a rallying cry to his players, revealing that he expects a reaction in Manchester after the disappointment of a midweek cup defeat to Southampton.

Lovren has also been previewing the meeting with the Red Devils, claiming Sunday's hosts will be facing a different prospect to the side that earned a memorable Europa League victory last season.
