Luis Suarez regularly made the sublime seem routine during his Liverpool career - but, on this day in 2013, the Uruguayan put in a display that was special even by his standards.

Three years ago today, Suarez was named the Reds' stand-in captain for their trip to Tottenham Hotspur.

The striker proceeded to score twice, set up two goals and have a major hand in the other as Liverpool's scintillating performance earned them a resounding 5-0 win.
