An exclusive chat with Roberto Firmino, Dejan Lovren on the belief coursing through the Reds' squad and 10 of the best Liverpool lobs.

All this and more features in today's round-up of the latest LFC news.

Our top three stories...

Firmino has started the season in fine form - and the Brazilian opened up about pressing, goal celebrations and life on Merseyside in a revealing interview with Liverpoolfc.com.

"The aim is always to be better. I am the type of player who is demanding of himself, so I try to improve in every aspect," says the No.11.

Liverpool have won five and lost just one of their eight Premier League matches so far this season.

And, speaking ahead of West Bromwich Albion's visit to Anfield tomorrow, Dejan Lovren has told us that the mood around Melwood is one of upbeat confidence.

"Every game is a 'win' game for us - we have the quality to beat everyone," insists the Croatian defender.

Joe Gomez made his long-awaited return to first-team training last week as he steps up his recovery from a serious knee injury.

The young defender has admitted that being out of action for just over a year was 'tough', but has outlined his determination to come back stronger.

"I've grown from it and learned a lot physically and mentally. Only good can come from it," says Gomez of his lengthy absence.

In other news...

Firmino and Philippe Coutinho both carried their impressive club form onto the international stage earlier this month, and the Liverpool duo have been rewarded with places in Brazil's squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Argentina and Peru.
