Our top three stories...

It's safe to say the boss can't wait for United's visit to Anfield next week. He's got fond memories of last season's Europa League last-16 tie, which the Reds won 3-1 on aggregate.

"We are really looking forward to what will be a fantastic game at Anfield. Those Europa League games were really nice," said Klopp.

Karius, meanwhile, has insisted that Liverpool are primed and ready for the game against Jose Mourinho's side.

"We have respect for them but we’re not scared of them and we know we want to win the game," said the goalkeeper.

Klopp has also been discussing the importance of a strong and fruitful link between Melwood, Liverpool's first team's HQ, and the Academy base at Kirkby.

"I can promise that before we sign a player who isn't a lot better than what we already have we will always use our own boys...we want to be this special club," the manager commented.
