Inside training: Shooting practice and a Stewart tumble
Our latest exclusive training clip from Melwood is now available on demand – with plenty of goals and saves in shooting practice, plus an attempt Kevin Stewart will want to forget.
Liverpool are building up to the visit of Hull City on Saturday afternoon and have been hard at work as they look to claim a fourth consecutive win in all competitions.
Their preparations included a chance to sharpen up finishing – and, in the case of the goalkeepers, shot-stopping – through a fast-paced drill in front of our cameras.
There was cause for a laugh amid the quickfire shooting too, with Jürgen Klopp amused by one ambitious effort from Stewart which went badly wrong.
