Liverpool duo Christian Benteke and Divock Origi made late appearances during Belgium's 1-0 win against Sweden at Euro 2016 on Wednesday night.

The strikers were introduced on 87 and 93 minutes respectively in Nice as their country booked a place in the competition’s Round of 16.

A fierce finish across goal by Radja Nainggolan with six minutes remaining was enough for the Belgians to claim victory in the Group E clash, securing second place with the result.

They now progress to a knockout meeting with Hungary, to be played in Toulouse on Sunday evening.

Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet was an unused substitute on the night.
