England and Slovakia played out a 0-0 draw to round off their group-stage campaigns at Euro 2016 in a match that featured five Liverpool players.

Daniel Sturridge, Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne and Jordan Henderson all started for England as Roy Hodgson made six changes, while Martin Skrtel retained his place for the Slovakians.

The Three Lions had the better of the possession and the chances in Saint-Etienne, but they failed to break down obstinate opposition.

Despite that, their place in the knockout stages of the competition was confirmed by a second-placed finish behind Wales in Group B.

Slovakia, meanwhile, must wait to find out whether they will progress as one of four of the best third-placed teams who will take up a place in the round of 16.
