Five Liverpool players have been named in the provisional England squad for this summer's European Championships in France.

James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Nathaniel Clyne, Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge have all been included in Roy Hodgson's initial 26-man party.

UEFA have set a deadline of May 31 by which the squad has to be cut down to 23.

England face Russia in their opening tournament game on Saturday June 11, followed by Wales on Thursday June 16 and Slovakia on Monday June 20.
