Coutinho scoops October's best strike award
Philippe Coutinho's magnificent equaliser in the 3-1 win at Chelsea has been voted by fans as Liverpool's Goal of the Month for October, in association with EA SPORTS.
The Brazilian drew the Reds level on the stroke of half-time when he cut inside and curled a magnificent left-footed effort into the top corner of the net.
In the runner-up position was Matty Virtue’s fantastic strike for the U21s away at Tottenham Hotspur while Christian Benteke’s Kop end header against Southampton took third spot.
Coutinho’s second goal in the win at Stamford Bridge came in fourth, while a derby goal for Danny Ings away at Everton clinched fifth position.
