It was fitting that Martin Skrtel sealed Liverpool's 4-1 victory over Manchester City on Saturday, exactly six years to the day on from notching his maiden goal for the club against the same opposition.
On November 21, 2009, the Slovakian diverted home a Steven Gerrard free-kick at Anfield to bag the first of his 18 goals for the club - so far, at least.
