Nathaniel Clyne played the full game and Adam Lallana featured from the bench as England secured a 2-0 friendly victory over France at Wembley on Tuesday night.

Goals either side of half-time from Dele Alli and Wayne Rooney were enough to give Roy Hodgson’s team the win on a poignant evening in London.

Clyne was named from the start at right-back and completed the game, while his Liverpool teammate Lallana took to the pitch for the final 20 minutes.

The pair will now return to Melwood and re-join Jürgen Klopp’s Reds squad ahead of Saturday’s trip to Manchester City in the Barclays Premier League.
