In our latest fan blog from 90min.com, Yemi Abiade reflects on the wins over Chelsea and Rubin Kazan and Liverpool's momentum ahead of the clash with Crystal Palace.

Well, it was quite the result for Liverpool last time out in the Premier League! Although we conceded an early goal against Chelsea, the team were unperturbed by the setback and rallied as the home side seemingly settled very early on a one-goal lead.

We were industrious in our play, steadily breaking the home side down with intricate build-up play and an imposing defensive showing. Rather than panicking, we stuck to Jurgen Klopp's tactics and never gave up, the spirit the manager has instilled into the side since his arrival paying dividends.

Philippe Coutinho rediscovered his goalscoring touch in a big way with two brilliantly taken strikes, and he was at the centre of many of our best attacking moments. Alberto Moreno never stopped bombing down the left-hand side while keeping the likes of Eden Hazard and Willian at defensive bay.

But perhaps most decisive contribution was from substitute Christian Benteke; his flick-on to Coutinho led to our second goal of the game and the Belgian finished the third in expert fashion.

This was arguably our best performance of the season so far, and that it came against the reigning champions is incredibly encouraging, a sign that Klopp is taking us in the right direction.

The momentum generated by the win was carried on to a 1-0 away victory against Rubin Kazan in the Europa League on Thursday. This was a match we dominated from start to finish and we deserved more than just Jordon Ibe's first goal for the club.

But, as with the result against Chelsea, this was another focused and deserved victory that makes it three wins in a row for the new manager, further proof that his impact and tactics are reaping rewards at Anfield.

Now that we have tasted three consecutive victories under Klopp, the team will want to notch up another one against Crystal Palace on Sunday. Our recent history against the Eagles has been well documented; from dealing the fatal blow to our hopes of winning the league title in May 2014 to inflicting a defeat on Steven Gerrard's final home game for the Reds last season, Alan Pardew's side have been something of a bogey team for us over the past two campaigns.

Minimising Yannick Bolasie's impact, and also that of Jason Puncheon on the right wing, will shut out Palace's main creative outlets and much of the pace existent in the South London outfit's line-up.

The battle in the centre of midfield will be equally as important, and James Milner and Lucas Leiva will fancy the task of containing Yohan Cabaye in the middle and making sure his excellent passing range is shut down.

Benteke's influential cameo means that he must be in contention for a place in the starting line-up on Sunday; he deserves the opportunity to gain his first start in the last thee league games.

As a team that is becoming difficult to defeat, Sunday will prove as good a chance as any to finally vanquish the recent nightmares inflicted upon us by Crystal Palace, and maintain the momentum Klopp has now established. In Klopp we trust!
