Jürgen Klopp may well have described himself as a "very average player" during his first press conference as Liverpool manager, but that didn't seem to stop him scoring a few goals!

The new Reds boss spent his entire 12-year playing career with FSV Mainz 05, starting out as a centre-forward before retreating to defence as time progressed.

Despite that positional switch, the German still managed to clock up over 50 goals during his spell as a professional.
