Mamadou Sakho played the full match as France eased to a 4-0 friendly victory over Armenia in Nice on Thursday evening.

The Liverpool centre-back recently earned a recall to Didier Deschamps’ squad and was named from the start for the international clash.

Goals from Antoine Griezmann and Yohan Cabaye were followed by a Karim Benzema double to ensure Sakho and co won in style.

Meanwhile, Emre Can was an unused substitute as Germany suffered a 1-0 defeat against Republic of Ireland in Euro 2016 qualifying.

Goalkeeper Adam Bogdan also remained on the bench during Hungary’s 2-1 success over Faroe Islands in Group F.
