It’s just under two months since Steven Gerrard made what he described as the ‘hardest decision of his life’ in swapping Liverpool for Los Angeles – and we decided to drop by to see how he’s settling in stateside.

After 17 years, 710 appearances, 186 goals and countless acts of heroism in the Red jersey, the 35-year-old joined LA Galaxy earlier this summer to begin a new chapter of his career.

But while he may no longer be present at Melwood, his love for the club has far from dwindled, as we found out in this exclusive feature.

Gerrard joins LFCTV’s guest presenter Jo Ankier in taking a stroll around the Venice Beach Boardwalk to chat candidly about his new beginnings in the United States.

Our former skipper drops by some iconic locations, such as Muscle Beach, while opening up about life with the Galaxy, how he and his family have settled on the West Coast and, of course, why he’ll remain an avid follower of Liverpool’s fortunes in this campaign and beyond.

It’s a video that’s not to be missed – and if you’re an LFCTV GO subscriber, you can watch it by clicking play above now. Need a subscription? Sign up now.

Our catch-up with Gerrard also forms part of this week’s #LFCWORLD. For more information on the latest edition of our magazine show, click here.
