Liverpool fans witnessed something they feared they may never see on Sunday – former Reds strikers Luis Suarez and Fernando Torres combining in attack at Anfield.

So Kopites were cruelly denied the chance to watch the pair join forces in what surely would have been a sensationally prolific partnership for the club.
Until yesterday. The All-Star charity match brought the forwards together for Steven Gerrard's XI in the second half, much to the delight of the capacity crowd.
