Brendan Rodgers' side endured a frustrating run of four successive defeats from the outset, but rallied last week to maintain their Champions League ambitions with a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Ludogorets Razgrad.

They then rediscovered the winning formula when Stoke City visited Anfield in the Barclays Premier League, with Glen Johnson's courageous header at the Kop end with five minutes remaining enough to claim all three points.

That goal was initially created by a towering effort onto the crossbar from Rickie Lambert, who enjoyed a fruitful month on a personal level and is therefore among the three contenders for this edition of the award.

The Reds' No.9 was handed three consecutive starts against Crystal Palace, Ludogorets and Stoke, and duly responded by opening his account for the club at Selhurst Park and scoring once more through perseverance in Sofia.

Another player installed by the manager for the crucial Champions League Group B contest and subsequent clash with the Potters was Lucas Leiva, who provided a robust and tenacious presence in the centre of midfield.

The Brazilian had previously been part of the team that tackled Real Madrid and lost narrowly at the Santiago Bernabeu, and he has also been nominated by a Liverpoolfc.com panel for November Player of the Month.

Completing the candidates is Kolo Toure. The Ivorian centre-back used his wealth of experience throughout that tie in Spain and ended the month in the starting XI courtesy of several authoritative performances for Liverpool.

But which of the trio most impressed you? There are two methods to have your say - either use the embedded online poll below to cast your vote or visit the official @LFC Twitter profile to retweet your preference now.

The man who receives the highest number of combined nominations will be the winner, taking the award in a special presentation at the club's training complex, Melwood, in the near future.
