Rodgers: Sturridge has derby chance
Daniel Sturridge has a chance of being available for the Merseyside derby with Everton on September 27, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed.
The striker has missed Liverpool's last two matches with a thigh injury, but is set to resume full training next week.
"Daniel is doing well and is out on the field doing some work," Rodgers told the Liverpool Echo.
"He should hopefully be back training at some point next week and will have a chance for the derby."
