Liverpool FC and Stray Dogs Films have today released the brand new artwork for 'One Night in Istanbul' – the upcoming film centred around one of the greatest nights in the club's illustrious history.

The movie is based on Nicky Allt's smash-hit play regarding the events of Istanbul 2005, when the Reds lifted a remarkable fifth European Cup, and will be released exclusively in ODEON cinemas from Thursday September 11, with exclusive previews on September 10.

Starring Steven Waddington, Paul Barber, Lucien Laviscount and Samantha Womack, 'One Night in Istanbul' charts the hilarious story of two down-on-their-luck taxi drivers, Gerry and Tommy, based in Liverpool.

The pair strike an unusual agreement with a local gangster to ensure that they can travel with their sons to watch the 2005 Champions League final in Istanbul, where the Reds battled from 3-0 behind to ultimately defeat AC Milan on penalties.

However, trouble awaits them in the form of a gang of ruthless criminals and a massive stash of stolen cash - check out the free trailer below for a sneak peek at what follows.

Tickets to see the film can be pre-ordered now at any of the following ODEON cinemas: Liverpool One; Liverpool Switch Island; Warrington; Bromborough; Wrexham; Broadway Plaza, Birmingham; Glasgow Quay; Red Dragon Centre, Cardiff; Panton Street, London; Victoria Square, Belfast; Point Village, Dublin.
