Moreno starts and Lazar sub at City
Alberto Moreno makes his Liverpool debut this evening as the Reds take on Manchester City in the Barclays Premier League, while fellow summer signing Lazar Markovic is among the substitutes.
The former, who sealed a transfer from Sevilla earlier this month, was ineligible to feature in the opening weekend win over Southampton but is named from the start at the Etihad Stadium, replacing compatriot Javier Manquillo.
Markovic is fit enough to be included on the bench, with Rodgers making one other switch from the side that beat the Saints - Joe Allen takes the place of Lucas Leiva against the reigning champions.
