Teixeira on target for Brighton
Joao Carlos Teixeira marked his first start for Brighton and Hove Albion with a goal in a 2-0 victory at Leeds United in the Championship on Tuesday night.
The 21-year-old midfielder struck with a well-taken finish after five minutes at Elland Road to put Sami Hyypia's side on their way to three points.
Teixeira joined Brighton on loan from Liverpool last week and made his debut as a substitute in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Birmingham.
