On the 30th anniversary of the day that Liverpool lifted their fourth European Cup and completed a unique treble, LFCTV will broadcast a series of shows to commemorate the occasion.

In his debut season at the helm - 1983-84 - Joe Fagan led the Reds to trophy glory in the League Cup, league championship and the aforementioned triumph on the continental stage.

Rome was the setting for the final piece of the prize jigsaw, as hosts AS Roma were overcome on penalties by the defiant travellers, Alan Kennedy slotting home the shoot-out winner.

To mark the date and the feat on Friday, 'Cup Kings 1984' reflects on how that remarkable European Cup was secured from 10am BST, while 'No Ordinary Joe' pays a special tribute to the boss, Fagan, at 1pm.

Back-to-back editions of 'Kop Classics' will tune the focus to a January 1984 victory over Aston Villa and the clash in Rome, from 8.15pm, before 'Goal Rush - 1983-84' provides the season's best goals.

The coverage will continue into Saturday too; switch to LFCTV for shows further documenting the two cup finals, plus fascinating interviews with Kennedy and the much-revered Steve Nicol.
