2013-14 was a season to be immensely proud of for Liverpool Football Club – and not just on the pitch.

Brendan Rodgers' side produced some of the most exciting attacking football witnessed in decades, sweeping their way to a second-place finish, and they were roared on every step of the incredible journey by the Reds' legion of loyal fans.

As the campaign entered its final stages, and with Liverpool competing for the Barclays Premier League title, thousands of Kopites lined Anfield Road to afford the home team a hero's welcome to the stadium.

Meanwhile, inside the ground, the famous old stadium rolled back to the clock to produce the kind of decibel levels that are etched into club folklore.

Indeed, the post-match 'roar' that emanated from the Kop following the 4-0 demolition of Tottenham Hotspur in March will live long in the memory.

Demonstrations of how powerful the club's fan base is were evident back in the summer too, as the Reds' pre-season tour of Indonesia, Australia and Thailand was punctuated by incredible displays of support. Who will ever forget the 95,000-plus singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, for example?

In celebration of the backing given to the team throughout the season, we've put together a gallery of some of our favourite fan photographs from a campaign to savour.
