Manchester City's 4-0 victory against Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium tonight means that Liverpool's title hopes still remain in the balance going into the final day of the season.

The Citizens' win tonight has put Manuel Pellegrini's men two points clear of Liverpool, leaving the club needing to beat Newcastle United on the final day of the season, while hoping that West Ham - with former Reds Andy Carroll, Joe Cole and Stewart Downing in tow - can come away from Manchester with a win.

Brendan Rodgers last night at the Player Awards claimed that as long as he is Liverpool manager, "the team will fight for our lives and certainly this season won't finish until Newcastle."

Liverpool fans will continue to believe and the way this Premier League has gone this season, it won't be over until it's over.
