Sinclair strikes winner for U18s
Jerome Sinclair notched the crucial strike as Liverpool U18s returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Leicester City on Saturday.
Neil Critchley's youngsters turned in an impressive display against the Foxes and registered an advantage midway through the opening period.
Sheyi Ojo watched a shot hit the post but the forward was alert in reclaiming possession and squaring across goal for Pedro Chirivella to convert.
It was a lead that the travellers took into half-time, although the home side levelled proceedings shortly after the action resumed.
The young Reds were not to be denied, however, and after being introduced as a substitute at the break, Sinclair grabbed the winning effort.
