One legendary Liverpool goal-getter relished the opportunity to quiz a player now tasked with finding the back of the net for the Reds, as Robbie Fowler recently interviewed Daniel Sturridge.

The man nicknamed 'God' by supporters for his prolificacy in two separate spells with the club hit the target 183 times - with left foot, right foot and head, and from every conceivable angle.

Since switching to Anfield from Chelsea in January 2013, the 24-year-old Sturridge has wasted no time in racking up the goals either, firing a remarkable 33 in a mere 42 appearances in the shirt.

The English duo, once on the books at Manchester City at the same time, recently reacquainted themselves at Melwood for a special conversation to mark Standard Chartered's 'Seeing is Believing' initiative.

Liverpool FC and its main sponsor have today launched a week of activity to raise awareness of the charitable campaign, which aims to tackle avoidable blindness in countries throughout the world.

The coverage kicks off with Fowler tackling the key issues with Sturridge - what is it like to play alongside Luis Suarez? How good a manager is Brendan Rodgers? How much is he looking forward to the World Cup?

Having known each other for almost a decade, the lethal pair also reflect on how Liverpool's No.15 has fulfilled his early potential at City and what he would like to achieve during the next 12 months.
