Three promising Liverpool youngsters and Mighty Red dropped by Pinehurst Primary School on Friday to support the pupils' efforts in completing a Sport Relief mile.

Marc Pelosi, Danny Ward and Stephen Sama joined the club's official mascot, who himself did a mile with the schoolchildren, to back the fundraising effort.

Sport Relief began today and will run until Sunday (March 23), bringing the entire nation together to get active, have fun and raise life-changing cash. Monies raised will go towards helping change lives both at home and abroad.

The Liverpool FC Foundation has been working with Pinehurst Primary School for 14 years, delivering a number of programmes including a free weekly coaching session with LFC coaches.
