On the day Twitter celebrates its eighth birthday, we've trawled the archives to find the very first tweet that began the process of making LFC the world's most global club on the social media platform.

Liverpool were the second Barclays Premier League club to launch an official Twitter account and since then have gone on to launch a further 18 international accounts - seven more than any other side in the world.

Today, the Reds deliver content on Twitter in 15 different languages, meaning more supporters than ever before can engage with the club on a daily basis.

But how did it all start? Well, as first tweets go, it's hardly iconic - a bizarre update from LFC TV's production manager, Nina Berry (Nina B), updating the world that she was struggling to find a cameraman to film an interview with Alan Kennedy.

It clearly captured the imagination of the club's millions of fans as 43 people deemed it worthy of a Retweet, whilst 13 supporters, for some unknown reason, chose to Favourite it!

Below you can see the #FirstTweet of each of our official accounts - and as you'll notice, some did better than others.

@LFCIndia received 303 Retweets whilst @LFCUSA scored highest with 398 Retweets. Poor old @LFCBrasil got none - but today, they're followed by almost 17,000 fans.

So here they are - every LFC #FirstTweet...
