Irish special theme at the Boot Room
St Patrick's Day is almost upon us and the Boot Room cafe in Anfield is hosting a special Irish themed day on Saturday with guest star John Aldridge.
The Liverpool and Republic of Ireland goal machine will be on hand to speak to supporters and join in the celebrations ahead of the big day for the Emerald Isle on Monday.
Why not visit The Boot Room on Saturday and enjoy a special 'Taste of Ireland' menu and cocktails with a three course meal for £16.50.
As well as a special appearance from Aldo who will also be conducting special legends tours throughout the day, there will be a traditional Irish ceilidh band playing and the Six Nations Rugby clash between Ireland and France will be shown on the big screens.
'A Taste of Ireland' menu includes:
Home-made leek and potato soup served with soda bread, whiskey and honey glazed baby gammon, colcannon potatoes and roasted vegetables, lamb rump, champ potatoes and mixed greens and for sweet there is Baileys and chocolate bread and butter pudding with warm chocolate sauce.
