How would you like to ask a question of Liverpool's greatest ever goalscorer? This Thursday, you can take the chance, when Ian Rush takes control of the official LFC Twitter account in our latest #CarlsbergTalk.

After days of clues provided on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter by LFC and official partner Carlsberg, it was revealed that the man who spent a career hitting the back of the net would be taking part.

The Welshman made 660 appearances for the Reds during a total of 15 years with the club across two spells, finding the target an incredible 346 times - a record which remains to this day.

As part of our association with Carlsberg, a current player or legend from the past is undertaking an exclusive Q&A session each month; Rush follows in the footsteps of Jan Molby, Robbie Fowler and Simon Mignolet.

The heralded No.9 will take charge of @LFC from 10.30am GMT this Thursday - and we want you to set the agenda by submitting your questions using the hashtag #CarlsbergTalk.

Rush will be picking out the tweets himself, so remember: the more unexpected, unusual, amusing or interesting your poser is, the more likely the 52-year-old will decide to provide a response.

Then make sure to follow the club's official Twitter account, @LFC, from 10.30am this Thursday to discover if the ex-striker answers your question and enjoy the entire chat live as it unfolds.
