The fearsome SAS partnership of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge are closing in on a proud scoring record. Here are all the facts and figures ahead of the Anfield clash v Arsenal from club statto Ged Rea.

The duo have fired 37 league goals between them this season in 35 appearances in total. Liverpool's best 'two highest scorers' total in a Premier League season is the 42 scored by Robbie Fowler (28) and Stan Collynore (14) in 1995-96. They did it in a combined total of 69 appearances (Fowler 38, Collymore 31).

Sturridge has found the net in 15 of his 19 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool this season.
He has scored 14 league goals this season, his best tally in a Premier League season. His previous highest  was the 11 he scored for Chelsea two seasons ago.

Earlier this season Arsenal won 2-0 at the Emirates with goals from Santi Cazorla (19 mins) and Aaron Ramsey (59). Jon Flanagan made his first Premier League start for 18 months. Simon Mignolet played his 100th career Premier League game.

Last season's Anfield fixture saw the Gunners win 2-0. Lukas Podolski (31 mins) and Santi Cazorla (68) each scored their first goal for the Gunners.

Nine hat-tricks have been scored by Liverpool in league games against the Gunners with each of the last four and eight in total coming at Anfield - the last from Peter Crouch in March 2007.

Liverpool's biggest win over the Gunners at Anfield came in April 1964 when they recorded a 5-0 victory. Their heaviest home defeat to Arsenal came in November 1952 when they were beaten 5-1.

In league and cup, Liverpool have kept just two clean sheets in the last 33 meetings home and away, and kept just one clean sheet against the Gunners at Anfield in the last 15 meetings in all competitions.

The Reds have so far scored the same number of league goals at Anfield (33) than they did in the whole of last season at home.

The last time Liverpool won at least 11 of their opening 13 home league games in a campaign was in 1987-88 - a feat they could equal with victory on Saturday.

The Reds have scored 11 more goals than Arsenal in the Premier League this season, but the Gunners have conceded 21 to Liverpool's 29.

Liverpool are two goals short of recording 800 at Anfield in the Premier League and have lost just one of the last 18 home league games - 0-1 to Southampton back in September.

Kolo Toure made 225 league appearances for Arsenal 2002-09 scoring nine goals. In all competitions the tally was 14 goals in 326 games. He made his Gunners debut against Liverpool in the FA Community Shield in Cardiff in a 1-0 win.

Steven Gerrard has scored five goals for Liverpool against Arsenal, his last coming in the Champions League   on this ground in April 2008.

At this stage of last season Liverpool were in seventh place with 35 points. They were seven points off fourth spot and 24 points behind leaders Manchester United. They currently lie fourth and eight points off top spot. Arsenal after 24 games last season were three points and one place better off than the Reds.

Arsenal have won the last two league meetings at Anfield. They last won a third successive league visit in    1974-75.

The Gunners have lost just one of the last 13 league meetings with Liverpool - a 2-0 defeat at the Emirates in August 2011 with Luis Suarez among the scorers.

Arsene Wenger has won 12 of his 34 league meetings with Liverpool since taking over in 1996. He has been Arsenal boss longer than the other 19 Premier League managers have been in charge of their current clubs in a current spell put together.

Arsenal have now finished in the top four in each of the last 17 seasons. They last time they failed to achieve the feat was under Bruce Rioch in 1995-96.

They last won the Premier League title in 2003-04.

The Gunners are unbeaten in the league on this ground since March 2007 when Peter Crouch (3) and Daniel    Agger scored in a 4-1 Liverpool win - a run of six games - although they lost 4-2 in the Champions League in 2008.

Arsenal, along with Tottenham, have the best away record in the top-flight this season - eight wins, two draws    and two defeats. Their two away defeats have come in Manchester - 1-0 at United and 6-3 at City.

The Gunners are unbeaten in every league match in which Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny have    completed 90 minutes together since January 2012 - a run of 31 games.

Arsenal have scored at least two goals in each of their last five league games for the first time since March 2012. They are unbeaten in their last 10 games in all competitions since the defeat at the Etihad back in December.

In those 10 fixtures they have conceded just four goals, keeping seven clean sheets in the process.

Away from home they are unbeaten in the last four - with three wins and a draw.

On the road this season they have scored 25 times in the league - the same total as Liverpool and one behind Manchester City who have the best tally in the Premier League.

Wojciech Szczesny has kept more clean sheets than any other 'keeper in the top-flight this season (11).

Gedion Zelalem became the first Arsenal player to appear for the first team who was born after Arsene Wenger became manager of the club in October 1996. The youngster came off the bench in the FA Cup tie     with Coventry last month.

Only two of Arsenal's last 10 goals in league and cup have been scored in the first half.

Arsenal have won more league games at Anfield (24) than any other visiting team.
