The Independent Police Complaints Commission have released an update on the progress of their Hillsborough investigation.

The report confirms the IPCC have received 1,634 responses to their witness appeal to date, and 160 police officers who had their statements amended have been interviewed.

Rachel Cerfontyne, deputy chair of the IPCC, said: "We have a dedicated team of professional people who are working determinedly to deliver the facts and find the answers to all the questions around Hillsborough. It will take time, but there is real momentum and focus in our work."
