Simon Mignolet played the full 90 minutes as Belgium lost 2-0 at home to Colombia in a friendly encounter while Raheem Sterling started as England U21s beat Finland 3-0.

The Liverpool stopper made some good saves as he bids to try and become the No.1 goalkeeper for Belgium in Brazil in 2014.

Meanwhile, Anfield teammate Sterling started as England U21s beat Finland 3-0 in a European Championship qualifier at the MK Dons Stadium on Thursday night.

Liverpool's No.31 played for 65 minutes before making way for Thomas Ince, while on-loan Jack Robinson was an unused substitute.

Michael Keane and a double strike from West Bromwich Albion star Saido Berahino sealed the victory for Gareth Southgate's side.

The result means the young Lions have strengthened their position at the top of the table.

England U21s are back in action on Tuesday evening when they host San Marino at Shrewsbury Town FC.
