Daniel Sturridge's jaw-dropping, long-range lob against West Bromwich Albion has been voted by supporters as the Reds' October Goal of the Month, in association with EA SPORTS.

Luis Suarez's sensational hat-trick had already done the damage against the Baggies on October 26, allowing his strike partner to add icing to the cake with a finish of supreme accuracy and skill.

The No.15's effort yielded 51 per cent of the vote on Liverpoolfc.com - more than enough to earn Sturridge his second Goal of the Month prize already in 2013-14.

Suarez claimed second and third place; the Uruguayan's powerful header past West Brom picked up 32 per cent in the fans' poll, while his opener in the same match received nine per cent.

Sturridge's equalising header away at Newcastle United and blasted conversion from a narrow angle against Crystal Palace at Anfield completed the top five for October.
