Signed LFC pool table to be auctioned for charity
A special pool table signed by LFC players including, Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez and manager Brendan Rodgers, has gone up for sale today to raise funds for the Liverpool FC Foundation, the club's official charity.
The table, which has been housed at the Reds' Melwood training ground for several years and been used by the players, went up for auction on Football Aid's website today at 12 noon and will be live for 11 days until midday on Friday, November 8.
All monies raised from the auction will go towards the Liverpool FC Foundation, which operates a wide range of programmes that create opportunities to inspire positive change and help communities locally and across the globe to build better futures.
Mark Haig, head of operations at the Liverpool FC Foundation, said: "We are delighted to receive this signed pool table from the players at Melwood. It is a fantastic piece of LFC memorabilia which I am sure many fans would love to own.
"The Liverpool FC Foundation will use the funds raised from the auction to help generate opportunities for local people across Merseyside and beyond to create better life chances through the power of football and the Liverpool badge."
The table, which is a genuine unique piece of sporting memorabilia, comes with a certificate of authenticity from Liverpool Football Club.
