Agger seals Denmark win
Daniel Agger fired the winner as Denmark won 1-0 away to Armenia in a World Cup qualifier on Tuesday evening.
The Denmark skipper netted a 73rd minute penalty after Ajax star Viktor Fischer was brought down.
Liverpool's vice-captain played the full 90 minutes for Morten Olsen's side.
Agger's country were just one point off second spot prior to kick-off and the result gives the Danes huge confidence ahead of the October qualifiers with Italy and Malta.
Meanwhile, there was disappointment for Martin Skrtel as Slovakia lost 2-1 at home to Bosnia And Herzegovina.
Liverpool's No.37 captained the side and played the full 90 minutes as Slovakia gave away a half-time lead with Bosnia's winner coming 12 minutes from time.
Luis Suarez played the full 90 minutes as Uruguay beat Colombia 2-0 in Montevideo.
It is the third consecutive victory for Suarez and his country and they are level on 22 points with fourth placed Ecudaor.
Uruguay now have a great chance of qualification and it would take a big change of results for the Uruguayans to be denied either automatic qualification or a play-off place against Asian outfit Jordan.
