Does Robbie hit the crossbar?
Robbie Fowler and Ian Rush were more accustomed to making the net bulge than rattling the crossbar in their playing days – but on the club's recent trip to Australia, the duo were tested on their ability to hit the woodwork.
In association with Bearded Lady Bourbon, which hails from Indiana in America, the legends took on a crossbar challenge against two lucky competition winners.
Fowler vowed to hit the woodwork after watching Rush and their two opponents fail to connect - and the man the Kop christened 'God' was sure he'd grazed the bar with one of his efforts.
