Out of the thousands of jubilant supporters waiting to watch the club in action Down Under for the first time on Wednesday, we unearthed a fan who actually shares his name with the team he follows.
Not only is it easier for Australian friends to pronounce than his original Chinese name, but 'Liverpool' has no explaining to do when people wonder which football team he supports.
