Liverpool's Luis Suarez and Sebastian Coates will aim to seal a third-placed finish for Uruguay in the Confederations Cup on Sunday evening, before Pepe Reina's Spain go in search of glory in the final.

Suarez and co were narrowly beaten by hosts Brazil in Thursday's semi-final after Paulinho grabbed a late winner to seal a 2-1 victory and consign Uruguay to a third-place play-off.

Their opponents in today's clash in Salvador de Bahia, which gets underway at 5pm BST, will be Italy, who suffered penalty shoot-out heartbreak at the hands of Reina's Spain.

At 11pm, the final kicks off in front of a packed Maracana stadium as Spain clash with Brazil in Rio de Janeiro.

Reina has started one of his country's games so far during the tournament as the current World Cup and European champions hammered Tahiti 10-0 in the group stage.
