Everton fan Blake Dutton provides the view from across Stanley Park ahead of Sunday's trip to Everton.
How are the Everton faithful feeling about the latest derby?
Nobody can be confident. Strangely though, the actual game has been discussed less than normal due to the Kirkby decision. I was firmly in the NO camp, but admit I don't know what happens next and we do need something.
How's your form?
Our form has been terrible. At least 45 minutes every game recently we have been awful. The other 45 minutes just poor. Last season we missed strikers and muddled through. This season we have missed our few creative players and felt the full effect. The players we have left have also shown an alarming lack of form.
Who's doing to business for you on the pitch this season?
The groundsman is doing his usual good job. After him I'm struggling. Saha has shown good form, but it's hard to look too good when the ball flies over your head at speed.
Anyone need a kick up the backside?
All the players need to have a look at themselves. And if it's that bad Moyes must also take some of the blame. Over recent years we have been known as a resilient side with a good defensive record. Without Jagielka though our centre-backs have looked anything but solid.
Cup aside, why have recent derbies not gone your way?
Quite simply a lack of enough quality.
Team news?
Bilyaletdinov and Pienaar should be back for the weekend giving us some balance for the first time all season. Fellaini will add another body to the central options, meaning Moyes can drop/rest at least one midfielder. We'd like to see 4-4-2, but just don't have the central midfield to play it, so we'll stick with one up top. Rumours are The Fonz is in line for a debut, but we're not sure he has the previous experience and credentials to match Captain Robert Hatch's single appearance for the club. (Henry Winkler is doing panto and apparaently Charlatan Bill has invited him down. Not quite as famous as when we dragged Stallone out for a scarf waving display - but it's as good as it gets recently.)
If you were giving the pre-match team talk what would you say?
At the moment we just need a call to arms. We need to show commitment and a will to get the ball. We can't flick a switch and start playing like a 70s Brazil, but we can put the effort in. Swamp the middle and get the ball to our two wide players at every opportunity.
What's the score going to be?
I'm going for a hopeful 1-1. And I'd be very happy with that.
