Liverpool first-team duo Ragnar Klavan and Marko Grujic visited a local school this week to meet young LFC fans.

The pair headed to Monksdown Primary School, close to the Reds' Melwood training base, where they took part in a lower school assembly and a mini Q&A before signing autographs and posing for pictures with 220 young supporters.

Earlier this year, LFC committed to players visiting schools in and around the local area after autographs and pictures were stopped outside Melwood for health and safety reasons.

This new scheme provides a safer environment for young fans to collect autographs and allows even more local children to meet their heroes face to face.

Margaret Aspinall, chair of the Hillsborough Family Support Group, also visited the school and spoke to the pupils about important life skills such as integrity, truth and justice.
