Liverpool FC will donate the players’ match-worn signed shirts from this week’s UEFA Champions League game with Napoli to help humanitarian efforts in Indonesia.

The country, which has been hit by a powerful earthquake and a tsunami in the last week has witnessed the death of over a thousand people and the destruction of tens of thousands of homes.

The shirts will be donated to the Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC) and will go towards generating much-needed funds to help survivors of the disaster cope with the trauma and begin to rebuild their lives and communities.

Reds fans can also support the DEC Indonesia Tsunami Appeal by donating here.
