After Steven Gerrard announced his retirement from professional football, relive the highs and lows of his incredible 28 years of service to Liverpool Football Club.

When the former Reds captain confirmed he would be leaving Anfield in the summer of 2015, LFCTV began work on a documentary entitled 'Gerrard: My Liverpool'.

It told the story of a young boy from Huyton who grew up dreaming of playing for Liverpool and went on to make 710 appearances for the club, scoring 186 goals and collecting seven major honours.

Relive that tale, as told by former teammates, managers, family, friends and the man himself, below. Not an LFCTV GO subscriber? Click here to find out more.
